Dignifying Life Through Palliative Care initiative AYAT Education organized an open discussion forum named যেতে নাহি দিব (Jete Nahi Debo). The event focused on an open heart-to-heart discussion about ways to make the final days of life meaningful. Palliative care is a new term and specialty in Bangladesh. The main objective of palliative care is to ensure a safe and dignified death while also providing relief from physical, psychological, social, and spiritual suffering. The guest of honor was Prof. Dr. Nezamuddin Ahmad, Founder Chairman of the Palliative Medicine Department at BSMMU, while Prof. Dr. Sunjida Shahriah, Member Secretary of the Palliative Care Society of Bangladesh (PCSB), was the special guest. 25 people gathered from various fields of expertise and social backgrounds to share their experiences, ideas, and concerns about our end-of-life care.
