The primary aim of this training was to equip our CHWs with the essential knowledge and skills in Palliative Care. These empowered CHWs will now be able to provide community-based Palliative Care services under the primary healthcare system of Bangladesh.

This training holds great significance as it is a vital component of the Compassionate Narayanganj project. This pioneering initiative focuses on integrating Palliative Care services into primary healthcare, ensuring compassionate support for those in need. Together, we are building a compassionate community.

Compassionate Narayanganj is made possible through the collaborative efforts of AYAT Education, Worldwide Hospice Palliative Care Alliance, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University-BSMMU, and St Christopher’s Hospice.
