On 30th August, 2026, AYAT Care, an initiative of , partnered with UN Women Bangladesh to host the National Workshop on ‘ (): Knowledge Sharing and Recommendations for Effective Implementation Among Signatories.
The workshop brought together 10 WEP signatories from across Bangladesh to reflect on progress, share practical experiences, and identify actionable ways to strengthen gender equality in the workplace.
The event was inaugurated by UN Women Bangladesh’s Country Representative and Deputy Country Representative , alongside , CEO of AYAT Education and AYAT Care.
During the workshop, , , and her team guided participants through the seven Women’s Empowerment Principles and shared practical approaches for translating gender equality commitments into everyday organizational practice.
Representing , , , and his team shared the organization’s WEPs journey and how these principles have been embedded across leadership, HR policies, recruitment, employee well-being, and caregiving programs—creating a stronger, healthier, and more inclusive workplace.
Through interactive group discussions, participants assessed their own organizations’ progress on WEPs implementation and explored practical solutions to common challenges, including women’s leadership, equal access to opportunities, gender-sensitive workplace policies, recognition, and flexible work arrangements.
